Babylon and Byzantium

A group of us from College went on a 'School Trip' to London last week, to see both the Babylon exhibition and the British Musem, and the Byzantium exhibition at the Royal Academy. Both were superb, and well worth a visit!
Whilst there are too many highlights to highlight, nontheless, a couple of images stood out for me. The first is the wonderful 'Babel Revisited' by Julee Holcombe, from the Babylon exhibition. The second is the 'Icon of the Heavenly Ladder' from Sinai, in the Byzantium exhibition. Both, I feel, bear reflection.
