A Question

Does the Kingdom of Heaven operate a points-based immigration system?

I hope not. That would be impersonal and impossible - unless it was that you need one point, and the only way to get that is by faith in Jesus. . .

Thing is, following the old Sheep and Goats story some people would think they had the points when they actually had none
while those who actually a good score would be rather bemused at the discovery

Maybe: you get given the point you need to get in (immigration fee paid for on the cross) but you also need subsidiary points you need to earn through, shock horror, actually living out a life of service and relationship? Of course these points don't count if the fee hasn't been paid - but it has, hasn't it? Do your points still count if you don't know the fee's been paid? If you don't believe in the fee payer?
